So many interesting 'manhole' cover designs. I will have to do a rubbing one day when I get over my self-consciousness of being a Westerner. I read about a Chinese artist who used rice paper and brush painting ink to do rubbings on natural surfaces (rocks, moss, etc.) . I like that idea for the manhole covers.
