I found Marie's art supply store a few blocks from our new apartment. Supplies are relatively inexpensive.  I set up a studio space in our spare bedroom, bought acrylic paints and some 12"x12" luan panels and started painting. I also have a quilt started that is hanging on the wall in the upper left corner of the photo.
