I have been experimenting with abstract shapes and underpainting, too. And using text. It's great being in the studio almost every day and making stuff. I feel like I am just making sketches and sometimes they turn out to be something and sometimes not. I am hoping that by being in the studio everyday something consistent will evolve. I'd really like to find a way to combine faces, abstract shapes, underpainting layers and text with paint and cloth/stitch. Guess I will just keep showing up.
