blogger is being difficult tonight...can't upload any images. sent in an application today for PICNIC. keepin' my fingers crossed. already got accepted into the MECA holiday sale. have a lot to do in the next few weeks.

worked some more on my paintings today. happy anniversary to my bestest guy today...here's to many more years of snugglin' together.

good painting day. first day of the season i needed to wear a hat outside. scored a vintage sewing machine brother festival 471 at a yard sale across the street. don't tell anyone...i already have enough sewing machines!

more images of my stitched work from the photo shoot. these are 12" square framed. colors look great. still fiddling with trying to get the texture of stitches to really show in a photograph. having a saturday night date with a box of double chocolate chip cookies...hehe.

getting work ready to sell for upcoming holiday shows. had professional photos taken...nice, huh? chill day with my best guy. i am a lucky duck.

playing with my painting today, based on the sketch i did. scrubbed five slop sinks today...very satisfying. on my way to pick up blueberry scones and the bestest guy.

playing with color and design ideas for paintings. using gouache and tombow markers.  listening to pandora. relishing my good life. looking forward to seeing the best guy tomorrow.

some 12" square paintings i am working on (oils). combining my drawings with paint. swept the painting studio. dr. stanley says #3 has to come out. still warm in maine for the fall...high 50's - mid 60's most days.

progress on a 4 foot square painting i have been working on for a few months. got accepted into the MECA HOLIDAY SALE. penicillin - yay!

color studies using my tombow acid free markers. making a daily practice of color studies and drawing. baking red potatoes today - a sign of fall. my #3 tooth is annoying.

much better after i upload to iphoto and post from there. will have to figure out how to tweak my droid or perhaps i need a new iphone.

Last day gallery sitting at maine fiberarts. Have really enjoyed my saturdays here. Today playing with color in my sketchbook. Trying to make it a daily habit.
